Electrodes; separators.-Electrodes for secondary batteries are composed of an alloy of from 65 to 85 per cent of lead, 10 to 25 per cent nickel, and 5 to 10 per cent of silver or cadmium, the proportions in a given example being 75, 15, 10, respectively. The plates are cast with corrugations b surrounded by a plain edge a. Ordinary electrolyte may be employed or the plates may be separated by moistened paper or stuffing.
