Abstract

1,189,570. Endless conveyors. ALLISCHALMERS MFG. CO. 19 Dec., 1968 [26 Dec., 1967], No. 60433/68. Heading B8A. [Also in Division B2] An endless conveyer 35 has a frame 36 consisting of two parts 37, 38 hinged together at 39. The lower part 37 is suspended from a frame 11 of a sifting assembly 5 by struts 43. The frame 11 is mounted on a further frame 1 to pivot about a horizontal axis 12. The upper part 38 is pivotally attached at its end remote from the hinge 39 to one end of a strut 44. This strut is also pivotally attached to the frame 1. A conveyer band 42 passes around end rollers 40 and is supported along its upper flight by rolls 41. When the frame 11 is lowered by pivoting about the axis 12 to a nearly horizontal position (see Fig. 2) the part 37 moves downwards with the frame whilst the part 38 hinges upwards and inwards.
