Abstract

1,188,632. Cabinets. ETABS. ALLIBERT. 11 Nov., 1968 [11 Jan., 1968], No. 53273/68. Heading A4B. A cupboard 2 slidably supports a drawer 3 beneath its bottom by means of a pair of moulded plastics, extension plates 8 each formed with integral parts for slidably engaging guides 4-7 on the cupboard 2 and for slidably engaging grooves 18, 19 in the drawer 3. The plate 8 has an inverted L-shaped top flange 13, 14 which slidably engages over a guide 4-7 and an integral peg slidably engaged in a groove 7 of the guide 4-7. Flanges 15, 16 on the plate 8 slidably engage the drawer grooves 19, 18. The peg 12 acts as a stop by engaging the closed rear end of the groove 7 to limit inward movement of the plate 8. The forward edge of the flange 13 is engageable with a closed end of the guide 4-7 to limit outward sliding of the plate 8. A vertical flange 20 on the drawer side is engageable with a stop ramp 17 on the bottom flange 10 of the plate 8 to prevent withdrawal of the drawer 3 from the plate 8.
