Abstract
1,186,198. Aprons. MAGIC-FOLD Ltd. (B. Kaye). 23 Oct., 1968 [22 Nov., 1967], No. 53157/67. Heading A3V. A protective garment such as an apron consists of a length of material with armholes 6 which is attached at one end 8 to a resilient split hoop-shaped neck band 9. The apron is made from a single plastics sheet, or woven material coated with P.V.C. or from transparent plastics materials, the edges 3 of which overlap slightly in use. The garment has no shoulder seams and the edges behind the openings are bound by bias binding 4 and the other edges are hemmed. The neck is hemmed with a half inch hem to hold the resilient plastics band 9 which is of circular cross-section and is in the form of a discontinuous circle the ends just touching, or they may overlap or the loop may be open with the ends spaced apart. The hoop which may be circular, oval or elliptical in shape is covered with bias binding. A belt or sleeves may be provided
