Abstract

1,185,992. Building panels. QUINTON & KAINES Ltd. 8 Dec., 1967 [16 Feb., 1967], No. 7506/67. Addition to 1,183,055. Heading E1B. A collapsible building panel comprises two facing sheets 1, 2 each having a series of longitudinal members 7a located in spaces 6, and a series of connecting members 7b passing through slots 5 and pivotally connected to the members 7a, concrete being introduced into the space between the members. The facing sheets may be composite, homogeneous or hollow. The connecting members may be narrow tie strips or they may be webs of wire, fibreboard or cardboard hingedly connected to the longitudinal members 7a to allow the panel to collapse.
