Abstract

1,098,681. Extruded sheets, doors. REVERE COPPER & BRASS Inc. Jan. 31, 1966, No. 4124/66. Headings E1J and E1K. A panel 'for doors or partitions is extruded from aluminium and has the outer planar skin members joined by parallel longitudinal webs having a lattice-like configuration, one edge of the panel providing a longitudinal channel between the skin members and the end web. Panels may be joined by extruded rectangular tubes engaging the edge channels or by pairs of flanges formed on one edge of a panel or an intermediate jointing member. The jointing member may provide for aligned, angular or curved joints.
