1,185,275. Clamps; stud and socket fastenings. GEORG. FRITZMEIER K.G. 4 July. 1968 [30 April, 1968], No. 32018/68. Heading E2B. A plug and socket connection of plastics material for fastening a seat cushion 2 on a seat support 3, comprises a tubular socket 4 which is adapted to be pushed through the cushion and to engage the latter on upper and lower sides between respective annular flanges 6, 7, and a plug 9 adapted to be inserted through a hole 8 in the cushion support into the socket and which on its outer surface projecting into the socket is provided with a barb 12 to engage behind an annular collar 13 in the socket and at its outer end has a stop collar 11 for bearing against the cushion support 3.
