Abstract

1,181,933. Latticework substructure. MANNESMANN LEICHTBAU G.m.b.H. 4 April, 1968 [7 April, 1967], No. 16181/68. Heading E1K. A constructional unit comprising a latticework substructure is in the form of a plane quadrilateral with two parallel side rails 1, 2 Fig. 1 and at least two equal angles, the nodes 7 of the lattice being spaced along the parallel sides at distances equal to the spacing of the of the side rails from each other, the connecting members 5, 6 of the lattice being arranged to define equal, isosceles triangles, and apertured plates 8 Fig. 2 being provided at all the nodes for attachment of further similar constructional units. Alternative quadrilateral shapes are disclosed with reference to Figs. 3, 4 and 5 (not shown), and a roof truss formed from several substructures is disclosed with reference to Fig. 6 (not shown).
