Abstract

1,032,117. Metal sheet. P. C. BEREND. March 26, 1963 [May 30, 1962], No. 20895/62. Heading E1K. A corrugated metal sheet comprises rows of holes 15 in the crests of the currugations on both sides of the sheet. These holes are also arranged to form rows transversely of the corrugations. The ends of the holes are rounded and the centre points of the rounded ends are all the same distance apart both parallel and at right angles to the corrugations. Stiffening corrugations are formed round the holes. A step tread or walkway is formed by securing the corrugated sheet, or two such sheets superposed; to parallel angle bars. A beam is constructed with chords formed of pairs of angle bars 21-24, Fig. 5, and a web of the corrugated sheets 10c, 10d.
