Wick burners, blue-flame; flame spreaders.- A central-draught blue-flame burner for heating or incandescent lighting comprises a cone 4 with an inwardly directed horizontal top flange 16 and a flame-spreader having an inwardly extending inclined part c provided near its edge, and above the flange 16, with a row of perforations 14. The spreader has rows of perforations 13 at its upper part and the top b is preferably imperforate. An annular flange 18 restricts the external air supply.
