Abstract

1,176,243. Strip fasteners. G. R. NORMAN. 8 May, 1967 [25 May, 1966], No. 21273/67. Heading E2S. [Also in Division A3] A garter has hose securing members in the form of resilient deformable hooks 6 which pass through fabric loops in the hose. The hooks are nylon integral with a nylon backing 5 which is stitched, adhered or vulcanized to a scrip 2 of rubber of fabric. The ends of the strip are adjustably secured together by pressstuds 13, 14 or nylon hooks (6'), Fig. 3 (not shown) which engage a nylon fabric pad (16). In an alternative embodiment the hooks are secured to suspended straps 20 of a girdle 21. The hooks project outwardly under the girdle leg. Alternatively the hooks are on suspenders of a suspender belt (25), Fig. 6 (not shown).
