Abstract

203,922. Cooper, J. F. Oct. 4, 1922. Corsets.-A corset-belt for attachment to a corset comprises back sections 2 adapted to be stitched to the inside of the corset and front sections 11, 12 adapted to be hooked together. Laces 7 graduated in length are attached to the sections 11, 12 and pass through eyeletted members 3 on the sections 2, their other ends being secured to strips of webbing 8, 10 one of which carries a buckle. In wear, the sections 11, 12 are hooked together and tension is put on the laces 7 after which the strap 10 and buckle 8 are fastened and supported by hooks 13. A two part waistband. carrying a hook and eye fastening is stitched inside the corset in order to hold the latter to the person whilst the belt sections are being fastened.
