The element may be a ring having an interior thread cooperating with an exterior thread 16 on the first nozzle, and may serve as a manifold fed from hose 15 and supplying a plurality of second nozzles 6. In the production of fire-proof coatings mineral wool and cement may be supplied to nozzle 2 and water to nozzles 6.
