Abstract

1,175,000. Air filter. LUFTFILTERTECHNIK WURZEN, VEB. 15 Nov., 1967, No. 51943/67. Heading B1T. An air filter comprises a flat, vertical screen across an air duct with a series of metal bars, bearing rubber strips, mounted between two endless chains and moving across the upstream surface of the screen to scrape fibres therefrom and deliver them into a box at the foot of the screen. The box may be emptied periodically or continually by a mechanical or pneumatic conveyor. The chains are driven by a motor, controlled manually or by a timer. The filter is used to remove fibres from an air conditioning circuit in a textile mill.
