Proving or raising appliances; s e t - ting - appliances for ovens.-A tray for use in a bakery consists of a frame a with a bottom in two parts e, f hinged to the sides of the frame; each part c, f preferably has two handles h, one at each end. The tray is made of a length equal to the width of the oven bottom, and is wide enough to hold one row of loaves crosswise. The trays, when stacked, serve as provers. To place the dough on to the baking- plate, the tray is held above it, and the parts e, f are turned out by means of the handles h, when the loaves fall on to the plate.
