Abstract

1,173,587. Lubricating. PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN N.V. 30 Dec., 1966 [30 Dec., 1965], No. 58347/66. Heading F2A. A lubricating device comprises a cupshaped container 1, Figs. 1 and 2, having openings 5 therein which lead to open ducts 2, the latter connecting to the parts which require to be lubricated. The device may be made of flexible material such as polypropylene, the container 1 may have a convex base, the ducts may be channel-shaped, and the end of each duct which is remote from the container 1 is provided with a lip 9. In an embodiment, the device is secured by means of snap-fasteners 10 to frame parts 11, 12, Fig. 3, of a motor 13. Drops of lubricant, formed at lips 9 of ducts 2 fall on parts 14, 15 so as to lubricate said parts.
