Abstract

1,084,850. Vehicle interior mirrors. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. Aug. 19, 1966, No. 37158/66. Heading B7J. A vehicle interior mirror assembly comprises a mirror 11 supported on a plastics stem 13 by means of ball-joint 12, and a base 15 adapted to be screwed to the vehicle and having a rectangular recess 17 with undercut edges 18, the root 19 of the stem engaging the recess with sufficient flexibility to enable the stem to be pulled from the base by an impact on the mirror. The base may be made of plastics material.
