Abstract

1,129,088. Vehicle rear view mirrors. DESMO Ltd. 3 March, 1966 [3 March, 1965], No. 8987/65. Heading B7J. A vehicle rear view mirror glass 10 is held in a plastic casing 12 provided with an adjustable joint 13 on the outer end of an arm 14 of similar plastics material to the casing 12, but between the mirror glass and the inner wall of the casing there is provided an opaque light-reflecting surface of the same colour as the plastics. In the Figure, for example, a coated card 16 provides the surface, but in a modification the mirror or inner wall of the casing may be painted.
