Abstract
1,172,436. Sliding clasp fasteners. OPTIHOLDING A.G. 30 March, 1967 [1 April, 1966] No. 14428/67. Heading E2S. In a slider for a sliding clasp fastener in which the upper and lower shields 2, 1, the neck 3, and a locking tooth 6 are made as a single moulding in a plastics material, the upper shield is recessed near the mouth 5 of the slider to approximately the same width as that of the mouth on the inside of the upper shield 2, the lateral edges of the recess 12 being separated from the rest of the upper shield by longitudinal slits 9 while the front foot of the stirrup 7 is moulded on the recessed end of the upper shield and the locking tooth 6 is moulded on the recessed underside of the upper shield 2.
