Abstract
1,171,298. Electric switches; actuation. ALLEN-BRADLEY CO. 13 Sept., 1966 [20 Sept., 1965], No. 27430/69. Divided out of 1,171,297. Heading H1N. In an electric switch comprising a contact carrier 3, Fig. 3 movable in an arc chamber 35 of a base module 2, a hook 54 is provided on the carrier 3 for engagement by an actuating element such as a pin 67, Fig. 4 (not shown) of an operator module mounted on the base module 2. The hook 54 permits the carrier 3 to be removed with the operator module of an automatic circuit-breaker on disassembly. Details of the arc chamber and operator module are described in Specifications 1,171,297, 1,171,299 and 1,171,300.
