Abstract
116,885. Koechlin, A. G. June 21, 1917, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Reeds.-In a loom with a stationary lay a and guide-reed b, the wefts are laid over the teeth of a reed d, when it is in the horizontal position shown, and the reed is then oscillated to beat up the wefts. The teeth of the reed are free at one end and set at the other end in a rail f mounted on an axle e, which is acted upon by mechanism to make a complete oscillation after each pick, and the teeth are so formed, as by each tooth having a projection o, that some parts of the teeth are always in position to guide all the warp threads.
