Abstract

1,163,903. Applying eye drops. BRITISH AIRCRAFT CORP. Ltd. 8 Dec., 1966 [18 Jan., 1966], No. 2254/66. Heading A5R. An eye drop applicator for use with a screw cap and dropper tube in accordance with British Standard 1679 comprises a cup 22 which is shaped as a conventional eyebath and which has a bored cylindrical portion 21 which is externally threaded and dimensioned to receive the cap 10. In use, the cap is screwed on to the cylindrical portion and the dropper tube 11 extends through the cylindrical portion, the cup being of such a size that the free end of the dropper tube is contained within it. The cup has a flared rim 23.
