Abstract

1,163,698. Counters. H. MULLER, and S. MULLER, [trading as J. HENGSTLER K.G. ZAHLERFABRIK]. 26 April, 1968 [8 Feb., 1968], No. 19797/68. Heading G4D. Depression of a reset key 1 and slide 2 causes a pin 2a to rock a lever 5 clockwise so withdrawing drive pinions 6 from engagement with numeral wheels 7. The pin 2a then rocks a bridge 8 to push fingers 9 against heart cams 11 to turn the wheels 7 to zero. At this point a pin 13 on bridge 8 passes a shoulder 14 so that a lever 15 pressed by a spring 16 locks the fingers 9 and therefore the numeral wheels. Release of the key 1 permits the slide 2 to return under the action of a spring 3, a pin 2b releasing the lever 15 after the drive pinions 6 have re-engaged the numeral wheels.
