[Also in Divisions G3, G4 and G5] Gearing for intermittently rotating drums, displaying hour numerals in a timepiece (see Division G3) comprises a wheel 15 having teeth 15a and toothless portions 15c. The wheel 15 drives a pinion 2 having alternate long and short teeth 2a and 2b respectively. When the toothless portion 15c is engaged between two long teeth 2a, the pinion 2 is locked against rotation.
