Abstract

1,161,622. Knitting machines. EDQUARD DUBIED ET CIE (S.A.). 27 Sept., 1966 [4 Oct., 1965], No. 42992/66. Addition to 1095631. Heading D1C. A fabric take-drummechanism for a flat knitting machine comprises a loop engaging comb including a row of eyed rods 20a and interengaging vertically movable rods 19a. The rods 19b are raised to engage the eyes and permit a row of loops to be formed on the comb. The entire comb is then lowered as the fabric is produced and opened, by lowering rods 19a, to release the loops.
