617,936. Powder distributers. LAIRD & SON, Ltd., J., KING, J. A., and BUCHAN, J. Aug. 19, 1946, No. 24661. [Class 18] A powder blower comprises a tubular body portion A surrounded by a cap B and provided at its base with grooves E constituting a bellows whereby powder can be discharged through one or more orifices D in the cap. The end closure discs C, C<1> of the body and cap respectively are secured in position by inwardly rolled beads A<1>, B<1>, and a further apertured disc C<1> is inserted in the body to form one end of the bellows. Cotton wool F may be inserted between the discs C, C<1> to assist the bellows action and prevent rearward escape of powder.
