[Class 47 (ii)] A fire-fighting material comprises a heatrefractory material and a substance which on heating will melt and tumefy, the latter being present to the extent of at least 40. per cent. by volume of the whole. Preferably, the material comprises equal proportions by volume of borax and sand. Specification 543,700 is referred to.
