[Also in Divisions H1 and H2] An electronic circuit component for a device for building electronic circuit arrangements comprises a mounting strip, a component element carried underneath the strip, the upper side of the strip carrying a legend denoting the component element kind and/or value, and a flexible contact blade electrically connected to each terminal of the element and depending from the mounting strip and adapted to make a resilient electrical selfwiping connection with a contact surface of a contact station of said device. The device for use with a plurality of the components comprises an insulated panel, a plurality of equal-spaced contact station arranged on the panel, and each presenting a plurality of contact surfaces. As illustrated the panel 20 includes projections 22 and recesses 21, for attaching the panel to other similar panels, and the stations are comprised by metal blocks 23 which plug into holes in the base board or which are screwed thereto. Each block has four vertical grooves 24 comprising the contact surfaces which receive contact blades 29c of the components. Current is supplied to the components from bus-bars 26 via means (not shown). In alternative embodiments (Figs. 7-10, not shown), the blocks are of insulating material with shaped recesses adapted to receive correspondingly shaped metal inserts or the recesses may be formed in the base plate.
