Abstract

1,160,641. Skirtings. WILLIAM E. CARY Ltd. 4 April, 1968 [11 April, 1967], No. 16400/67. Heading H2C. [Also in Division E1] Skirting trunking 10 comprising metal channel members 12 secured to a wall and covers 14 screwed thereto have outside corner pieces 18 with strips 23 welded to opposite vertical edges to form channels to receive the edges of covers 10. Members 12 are secured at the corner by fish-plates 25. At internal corners a corner-piece 35 having channel forming strip welded along its opposite edges closes the gap between the sloping upper portions 11 and a larger fishplate 34 connects the channel members. Cable support 37 is discontinued for a short distance at the corners. In a second embodiment of outside corner-piece a flat central portion is inclined at 135 degrees to two edge pieces at right-angles.
