Abstract

1,157,636. Copper alloys. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. May 24, 1967 [June 15, 1966], No. 26713/66. Heading C7A. A contact alloy for vacuum switches consists If more than one of the elements Ag, Co, Fe, Cr, Zr is present, the total addition is limited such that when the amount of each element is expressed as a percentage of its specified maximum, the sum of these percentages does not exceed 110. The alloys may be solution treated at 800‹- 1000‹C. and precipitation hardened at 300‹- 500‹C.
