Abstract
1,165,383. Copper alloys. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Aug.29, 1967 [Aug.26, 1966], No.38319/66. Heading C7A. A copper base alloy for making contact bodies or tips for vacuum electrical switches comprises:- Ag 1 - 8% Fe 0À5 - 2% the balance being copper. The alloy may be used in the as-cast condition and may be age-hardened in the bake-out of the switch at 450‹C.
