Abstract

1,157,297. Break spinning. VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY. 5 April, 1967 [7 Jan., 1967], No. 15532/67. In a break spinning device having a rotatable spinning chamber 4 capable of sucking air in from a fibre inlet channel 13 by means of holes 5 in the wall of the chamber and a combing out roller 8 projecting into channel 13, the outlet of a space 7 which receives the air from holes 5 is connected to the inlet of channel 13 so that the air circulates within the device. Sliver 24 is fed by a roller 9 to be opened by roller 8 and the fibres pass into the collecting surface of the spinning chamber to be formed into a yarn which is withdrawn through a passage 26 and wound up at 20. Chamber 4 is mounted on a shaft 3 rotated by a belt 23.
