Abstract
1,155,753. Thermal storage heaters. REVO ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 22 Aug., 1966 [8 Sept., 1965], No. 38312/65. Heading F4U. In a storage heater, a fan 17, its motor, and an air mixing valve 14 are mounted on a frame so as to be withdrawable as a unit from the heater. The mixing valve comprises two flaps pivoted simultaneously by a thermostat 15, and a further thermostatically controlled flap 23 is provided at the blower outlet. Plates 30 and 31 are mounted on the frame and carry electrical components. The plates are slidable inwardly of the unit to facilitate insertion into the heater. After insertion the plates may be slid outwardly towards the side walls of the heater casing.
