Abstract
1,154,683. Hydraulic accumulators. K. SUGIMURA and N. SUGIMURA. Jan.24, 1967 [Feb.3, 1966], No.3420/67. Heading F1P. An hydraulic accumulator comprises a plurality of concentrically arranged deformable tubes 6-9 sealed at their ends between rigid, spaced apart, end members 2, 3 to form a control chamber 11 for pressure liquid and annular gas-filled chambers 12-14 between the tubes. The end members 2, 3 are held spaced apart by integral or rigidly connected stays 4. A port 5 for connecting a liquid pressure line to the chamber 11 is provided in one end member or both end members. The annular chambers 12-14 are preferably filled with air at atmospheric pressure.
