Abstract

1,153,473. Windows for stoves. RADIATION Ltd. 14 June, 1966 [15 July, 1965; 6 Oct., 1965], Nos. 30187/65 and 42383/65. Heading F4W. Transparent or translucent strips 15 of heat resistant material are mounted in channel section members 11 of slightly deformable heat resistant material of sufficient rigidity to hold the strips assembled when the panel is handled. The channel members may be formed of two opposed parts temporarily secured together by adhesive to give a flange 12 by which the panel is fixed in a stove body or door. The channel members may be formed from an asbestos thermosetting resin mixture or from asbestos millboard, and the panel may be mounted with an asbestos rope gasket.
