1,153,215. Vehicles with transferable bodies. DURAMIN ENG. (LYDNEY) Ltd. 27 Feb., 1968 [27 Feb., 1967], No. 9236/67. Heading B8E. Containers on a road or rail vehicle are off-loaded by a pair of spaced transverse platforms 15 disposed, in a lower position, flush with the vehicle deck 13 and each raisable by a pair of hydraulic jacks 18 to lift the container for legs (not shown) to be fitted thereto. The platforms 15 are then lowered and the vehicle removed from beneath the container. The jacks 18 may be raised by a hand or power operated pump 21.
