Abstract

1,153,100. Sealing-wax melting appliances. I. ARMANI. 28 June, 1968, No. 59138/67. Heading B6P. An appliance for melting and applying a wax comprises a tubular insulated casing 8 for accommodating a dry-cell battery 13 or a plug adapter (14, Fig. 1a) for connection to the mains supply. A nozzle-shaped wax holder 7 having a heating coil 6 is plugged into the open end of the casing 8 where copper contact strips 10 complete the circuit to the heating coil. The circuit within the casing 8 includes a switch 3, a rheostat 2, a thermostat 4 and a pilot light 5. The appliance may be provided with a plurality of interchangeable nozzles 7.
