Abstract
1,152,725. Index tabs. TRADE LOOSE LEAF CO. Ltd. 1 May, 1967 [20 July, 1966], No. 32494/66. Heading B6E. A clear or coloured transparent index tab is made from a plastics material such as cellulose acetate by folding a strip about its median line to define side walls 10, 11 which are coated with adhesive, and protected by gummed or tacky strips of cloth 13 which are peeled off prior to use, an uncoated area above the adhesive margin 15 providing a transparent window through which an indicia bearing label 12 may be seen. The strips of cloth 13 may be peeled off in narrow bands starting from the lower edges 14 of the side walls 10, 11 to vary the projection of the tab above an index card 17, Fig. 3.
