1,237,855. Indexing. MAPPEI ORGANISATIONSMITTEL G.m.b.H. 18 Sept., 1969 [26 Sept., 1968], No. 45978/69. Heading B6E. Indexing means for filing folders or index cards comprises a rigid, transparent plastics member 1, Fig. 5, of rectangular cross-section attached to the filing folder by adhesive strip 4 and defining a pair of opposite longitudinal recesses 5, 6 which receive the shanks 7, 8 of a tab 9 guided by opposite longitudinal edges 2, 3, Fig. 4, of the member 1. The adhesive layer 4 may be protected before use by a foil (12, Fig. 3) and a number of spaced members 1 may be used in conjunction with narrow and wide tabs (9, 9<SP>1</SP>, Figs. 6, 7).
