Abstract

1,151,283. Feeding sheets. ARITMA, NARODNI PODNIK. 25 Jan., 1967 [8 Feb., 1966], No. 3750/67. Heading B8R. A stack of cards 2 rests on edge on a continuously moving conveyer 3, Figs. 1 and 2, and the rear of the stack is pressed forwards by a weight 12, the edges of the front cards resting on a release knife 8 having a forward sloping portion and on similarly shaped setting stop 16, the front card resting also against a release cylinder 9 and a rotating disc 6 having a highfriction projection 7 which engages the front card and forces it down between feed rollers 10, 11. If the feed is to be stopped an electromagnet 15 is energized and levers 14 hold the front sheet away from the disc 6.
