1,149,839. Piston rings. RAMSEY CORP. 20 May, 1966, No. 26993/68. Divided out of 1,133,753. Heading F2T. A piston ring comprises upper and lower annular portions of equal radius and an annular portion extending between, and of greater radius than, the other portions and having thereon a layer 183 of wear-resistant metal. The ring may be made of cast iron and the layer 183 sprayed on as disclosed in Specification 1,133,753.
