Abstract

A tube-holder comprises a substantially W- shaped member 1 having a central channel 2 of arcuate cross-section for receiving a tube 3, lateral flanges portions 4 at least of whose free edges are on or beyond the plane tangential to the apex of the convex side of the channel, and at least one pair of recesses in the flanges, each recess being opposite and across the channel from the other one of the pair, each pair of recesses providing spaces for the arms of a U-bolt 7 for securing a tube in the channel and the holder and the tube to a support. As shown, the recesses are formed by cut away portions of the flanges 4, and lugs 9 provide an abutment for one end of the tube. The recesses may be provided at one end only of the holder or additionally or only at positions intermediate the ends.
