Abstract

1,148,242. Disposable pipette tip. BECTON, DICKINSON & CO. 5 April, 1966, No. 26865/67. Divided out of 1148241. Heading BlX. A disposable pipette tip 134 comprises a transparent resin tube continuously tapered from one end to the other so as to give a frustoconical bore, end 150 of the tube being adapted for attachment to the pipette and end 154 tapering towards the bore of the tip. End 150 may have ribs 156 to assist handling. End 154 may include an angle of not more than 60‹. The tip may be 'made of polystyrene or polyethylene.
