Abstract

1,022,334. Tongue depressors. SORENSON RESEARCH CORPORATION. Sept. 1, 1964, No. 35769/64. Heading A5R. A tongue depressor comprises a blade 1 at right angles to shank 2. The blade 1 has a groove 5 and the depressor is provided with notches 6 and 7. An S-shaped section 9 may be provided at the connection of blade 1 to shank 2. The depressor may be used with an endotrachial tube which lies in the groove 5 and passes through notches 6 and 7.
