1,148,029. Walls; silos; bunkers. STAFFORD CONCRETE PRODUCTS Ltd. 22 Dec., 1967, No. 58321/67. Headings E1B and E1T. Recessed reinforced concrete blocks 26-29, 31-34 and 45-48, each having a projecting tongue at each end equal to one third the thickness of the block, are tied together to form the walls of a tank by ties passing through apertures therein, the remaining thickness being filled by apertured blocks 52 or receiving the ends 41 of reinforced concrete stays 40. The inwardly facing face of the block is recessed as at 13 and the upper and lower faces have grooves 17 for receiving mortar and bevelled edge 18 for receiving a sealing compound. The tanks are built on a concrete base, and may be triangular, square or rectangular.
