Abstract

1,145,940. Wall shuttering. SYMONS MFG. CO. 17 Nov., 1967, No. 52398/67. Heading E1S. Opposed wall shuttering panels 10 are connected together by slotted tie strips 18 cooperating with wedges 40 and slotted T-shaped connectors 38, the strips each having two sets of elongate slots 50, 52, one set at each end, slots 50 being spaced at 2" centres and slots 52 at 3" centres. The two innermost slots are spaced at 7" centres for use with shuttering panels with 1¢" between the face of the panel and the centre line of the wedge 40, to give wall thicknesses of 4", 6-14" or 16". Opposed pairs of notches 54 are provided at 1¥" centres inside each slot 52 and inside the innermost slot 50, as shown, and each slot is 7/8" long.
