Abstract

1,135,736. Formwork panel. SYMONS MFG. CO. 23 Sept., 1966, No. 42638/66. Heading E1S. A panel for formwork for casting walls comprises a plywood facing 120 and a rectangular frame 122 reinforced by transverse bars 124 each consisting of a flat base on which is a diagonal rib 150. The bar is formed by folding a flat strip along diagonal lines. The panels are connected together by wedges in slots in T-bolts in slots in the panel frames. One end of each rib is below one such connection and the other end above the connection on the other side of the panel. The formworks on each side of the wall to be cast are connected together by slotted ties 18.
