Abstract
1143933 Temperature variable resistors TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Inc 25 Feb 1966 [25 Feb 1965 (2) 24 Oct 1965] 8471/66 Headings F4W and W18A1A1 [Also in Division H5] A self-regulating steep sloped PTC heating resistor defines at least part of a cavity enclosing a temperature-sensitive device which is to be kept at a constant temperature. The resistor is barium titanate doped with lanthanum (Ba 0À997 La 0À003 TiO 3 ), or is carbon black filled cross-linked polyethylene. Details of the preparation of the lanthanum doped barium titanate are given, and reference is made to Specification 3351568 for further details.
