Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize automatic voltage switching with a small-sized, inexpensive device by constituting to select a heater constitution according to a power source voltage and making a heater power and a motor revolution to specified values with phase control by means of a temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:A heater 9 is divided into a multiplicity of resistors, for example 9a, 9b, 9c, so that a constant power is inputted according to changes in the voltages of a power source. The voltage of the power source 1 is detected with a power source voltage detector circuit 3 to actuate a contact point 8b according to the changes in the detected voltage. The resistor 9c only is selected at the time of a low voltage while all the resistors 9a, 9b, 9c are selected at the time of a high voltage to constitute the heater 9 so that an equal power is supplied in any case. A phase control circuit 13 works to supply the half wave of the power source via a thyristor 17 to the heater 9 and a motor 12 so that constant flow rate and temperature of hot air are maintained according to the power source voltage and according to an output of a temperature sensor 14 of a positive characteristic thermistor.
