Abstract

The electric heating system control is dependent on the local lighting conditions. The heater is normally convective and includes a local temperature sensor. The control circuit is based on an NPN transistor (T) having a photosensitive element (L) connected between its base and emitter, the emitter being in series with a thermistor (TH). Preset adjustment is by a variable resistance directly across the transistor, further adjustment being by another adjustable resistor in the emitter to supply connection. Triac switching of heaters is via amplifiers (A1; A2) driven from the transistor emitter potential.
